Circondato da verdi colline, su una splendida altura sospesa tra il tempo e lo spazio, si erge questo agriturismo, un feudo di oltre 300 ettari di fertili terre coltivate nel segno della tradizione contadina.
Il casale , un antico monastero del 1300, si sviluppa intorno ad un baglio siciliano su cui si affacciano 14 confortevoli camere e un'ampia sala da pranzo, luogo di magico incontro tra i profumi e i sapori tipici della cucina siciliana a base di prodotti biologici, accompagnati dal vino aziendale prodotto con uve di Nero d'Avola.
DESCRIPTION: Surrounded by green hills, not far from the slopes of the volcano Etna, on a marvellous hill hanging between time and space, it rises this Agriturismo , a fief of 300 hectares of fertile lands cultivated following the peasant tradition.Placed in the centre of the land of the sun, on an ideal position for trips to Taormina, Agrigento, Siracusa, Noto and Ragusa Ibla, the Agriturismo boasts surroundings of touristic places largely famous, such as Piazza Armerina with its Villa Imperiale del Casale, Caltagirone, beautiful with its historic town centre and known for the production of majolicas, Morgantina, a greek town with the agorà and a wonderful theatre.
The farm-house, an ancient monastery of 1300, develops all around a sicilian court-yard on which 14 confortble rooms and a dining room appear, as a place of magic union between the typical fragrances and flavours of the island cuisine made of biological products, served with wine produced by Nero d'Avola grapes.
Nell’antica masseria del 1200, i proprietari hanno ristrutturato un antico casale destinato all’ospitalità dei turisti, con 14 camere (di cui una per disabili) calde ed accoglienti arredate con mobili siciliani, con bagno in camera, pavimenti in cotto.
La struttura, di particolare pregio architettonico, è costituita da diversi corpi di fabbricati che nella loro distribuzione danno luogo ad una corte interna, tipica dei feudi più fertile e ricchi dell’epoca .
La ristrutturazione è stata fatta nel rispetto delle architetture tradizionali ove archi, piazzette, vecchie travi e muri ricreano l’atmosfera antica e calda.
The ancient farm of 1200, the owners have restructured an ancient destined country house to the hospitality of the tourists, with 14 rooms (of which one for handicapped) pleasant furnished with furnitures sicilian, with bath in room, pavements in cooked.
The structure, of particular architectonic style, is constituted from various manufactured bodies of that in their distribution it gives place to one short inner, typical of the farm more fertile and rich of the age.
The restructure has been made in the respect of the traditional architectures where arches, small square, old beams and walls recreate the ancient and warm atmosphere.
